I sometimes wonder how necessary Tom Clancy's name it. It precedes every title based on his work, though I feel like slapping it before Rainbow Six or Splinter Cell is kinda redundant. Will we ever get a Philip Nowlan's Buck Rogers game? I feel like the world needs that. Regardless, the game is actually created by Massive Entertainment under the behest of wobbly giant Ubisoft.
Beta previews went out a while back, and gameplay felt suitably average, heavily featuring in that Gears of War bullet sponge area. I understand not every game should be CS:GO, but all the same, it feels like Ubisoft are trying to breach the Destiny format that's worked out rather well for Sony, but I can't help but feel unconvinced. What's more, there aren't to be any release day reviews from any media outlets (prepare for Steam reviews after 0.2 hours of play). The reasoning behind this is equally hooky, with Ubi saying that reviewers might not get the right feel of this MMO-style world without thousands of Day 1 players. What I'm saying is, don't pre-order and wait for some reviews.
