X3xx (X300, 301) X301 Ultrabay Akku lädt nicht

Ich schon wieder :facepalm:

Nachdem ich jetzt einen (originalen) Ultrabay-Akku für mein X301 auftreiben konnte stehe ich vor folgendem Rätsel: Wie bringe ich in dazu zu laden?
Hier der Output von tlp-stat
Ich hatte es auch schon geschafft dass die daten des Akkus tatsächlich ausgegeben wurden, aber nichtmal das klappt jetzt noch und ich hatte es leider versäumt die Ausgabe zu speichern.
Er hatte sich als Sony gemeldet mit Herstellungsdatum in 2008, Erstverwendung gestern, volle ladekapazität aber derzeit komplett entladen (0% Rest).
Die Status-LED für den Akku blinkt orange.

Wie schnell?
Jede Sekunde - dann ist der Akku schlichtweg defekt und wird auch nicht geladen.

Wenn der UB-Akku nicht lädt, obwohl der Hauptakku schon voll ist, ist das kein gutes Zeichen. Lass ihn aber vielleicht mal noch ein paar Stunden laden (evtl. unter Aufsicht), vielleicht berappelt er sich dann doch noch.

Hatte das gute Stück heute schon über Nacht eingesteckt. Die Blinkfrequenz ist tatsächlich etwa 1Hz. Ich dachte aber bisher dass das auch bei einem so gut wie leeren Akku so ist.

Dann ist er defekt. Meiner Erfahrung nach sind die LiPo-Akkus des X300/X301 in Bezug auf die Lagerung tatsächlich etwas empfindlicher...

Dann blinkt es langsamer. Etwa alle 2 bis 3 Sekunden.
Schnell hintereinander bedeutet Defekt.

Lithium-Ionen kein LiPo. Und nicht nur beim x300 sondern bei allen anderen auch. Überlagert ist gleich tiefentladen also defekt.

Ich bin mir 99% sicher, dass zumindest der Ultrabay-Akku beim X300/X301 ein Lithium-Polymer-Akku ist, wohl aufgrund der geringen Bauhöhe und den damals verfügbaren Akkutechniken. Schau mal drauf, da steht "Li-Polymer" oder so drauf, bei allen anderen Akkus "Li-Ion".

Natürlich kann man auch Li-Ion-Akkus durch Tiefentladung kaputtbekommen, aber die sind meiner Erfahrung nach robuster. Jedenfalls sind die Akkus, die bei mir am wenigsten lang gehalten haben, mein MBP-Akku und der X301-UB-Akku - beides LiPo.

Also selbst die alten Ultrabay-Akkus wo noch IBM drauf steht sind Lithium-Ionen kein LiPo. Siehe Bilder im Netz.

Es steht zwar Li-Ion drauf, aber innen sind Li-Po Zellen verbaut. Habe bei meinem T410s Bay Akku gerade nochmal nachgesehen. Was anderes macht auch keinen Sinn, ein Li-Ion würde das ständige entladen auf 0% nicht auf Dauer überleben.

Beim X301 wird es also ähnlich sein.

Da ist aber kein wesentlicher Unterschied, das nehmen die Li-Po-Zellen genauso übel.

Sagt eigentlich alles. Im Laufe der jahre hat sich der Akku tiefentladen, dass die Akkuzellen elektrisch abgekoppelt wurden. Genaugenommen hast Du dem Verkäuder nur die Entsorgungskosten erspart.

Was auf dem Akku draufsteht, ist belanglos (LiIon oder LiPo) - kaputt ist kaputt.

Ich kann bestätigen dass im X301 Ultrabay-Akku Lipo Zellen verbaut sind, hatte meinen damals geöffnet!
