Wer eine UMTS-Karte hat, der will sie ja auch benutzen. Nur will die Karte nicht benutzt werden.
Es geht um ien X300 und eine Sierra Wireless MC78775. Dabei habe ich ienfach die Anleitung und Skripte von hier benutzt: http://www.sierrawireless.com/faq/ShowFAQ.aspx?ID=601

Dann habe ich noch debug angeschaltet beim gsm, damit man ein wenig Output bekommt...
Noauth und CHAP-Authentifizierung (mit leeren oder irgendwelchen Daten) funktioniert beides bzw. er meldet dann zwar, die Authentifizierung sei erfolgreich, weiter gehen tut's aber nicht, er hängt sich auch auf.

Dazu kommt, dass sich das Modem manchmal so aufhängt, dass er nicht mehr kommunizieren will. Das passiert manchmal, wenn ich das Modul sierra entlade und dabei die Karte nicht neu starte (per /proc/acpi/ibm/wan), aber sierra und usbserial neuzuladen und vorher das Modem neuzustarten löst das.
In dem Fall meldet er dann im dmesg urb-Fehler, dass die nicht submittet werden konnten mit Status -2 (no entity/device). Da sollte aber nicht der Fehler liegen, dneke ich.

Ohne die Option noccp wird das hier ausgegeben:

Also der war, wenn man Access Connections öffnet, direkt unter der Statistik. Ich hab jetzt leider kein Vista gebootet, dass ich mir das mal angucken könnte, aber er war ziemlich dominant gleich am Anfang?!

/Edit: Ich habe gerade mal gegooglet... Also irgendwie meine ich nicht Access Connections, das sieht ja völlig anders aus?!

Denn die ist die einzige, die was mit der UMTS-Karte zu tun hat und dort zum Runterladen ist?!

Im Zweifelsfall mach mal einen Thread in nem anderen Forum (Thinkvantage-Kram) auf, da gucken sicher die passenden Leute rein, die dir helfen könnten.
