Ich habe mir nach langem Zögern ein ThinkVision LT1421 zum mobilen Arbeiten zugelegt, obwohl es unter Linux gewisse Probleme bereiten sollte. Allerdings soll Fedora den Monitor Out-of-the-Box erkennen, was in meinem Fall leider nicht der Fall ist. Hat jemand von euch es geschafft, unter Fedora bzw. einer GNOME3 Desktopumgebung geschafft, diesen Monitor zum Laufen zu bringen? Der Monitor wird allem Anschein nach soweit erkannt, nur ist das Display verzerrt mit grünen und blauen Strichen. In diesem Zusammenhang ist mein ThinkPad auch mehrmals eingefroren, sodass ich einen Hardreset durchführen musste.
Bisher habe ich eigentlich nur die Schritte hier vom Arch Linux Wiki durchgeführt:
