ich habe letztlich jemandem per PN geholfen einige Treiber zu installieren und war erstaunt auf einem Baugleichen T60 (ich Dezember - er Feb07) die Karte mit "n" zu sehen...

ich bin der meinung, dass man nicht einfach ein 4:3 etwas strecken kann, man muss das ganze chassis von grund auf für wide konzipieren.

Wenn du ein 14" streckst, kommt ein 15,4" Widescreen raus. Stell mal ein 14" und ein 15,4" nebeneinander hin, du wirst sehen, die Displays haben die selbe Bauhöhe.
ein 14" Widescreen NB ist deutlich kleiner und völlig neu konzipiert, so wie du es gern möchtest.. ^^

Widescreen bedeutet Pixelverlust bzw. Flächenverlust und ist somit Platzverschwendung in der Tasche und Geldverschwendung im Geldbeutel ...:

Bei den Auflösungen krieg ich schon wieder das grauen. Nur weil Vista so toll auf 16:10 aussieht werden die jetzt nur noch verbaut oder was? Zum arbeiten nicht wirklich geeigent. Da würde ich doch lieber noch zu einem T60 greifen.

Ich kann diese Pressemitarbeiter-Quellen Geschichten nicht mehr hören. Heute ist Montag und nichts ist bestellbar geschweige denn gelistet - bei keinem mir bekannten Distributor - ich macht Euch alle selbst verrückt. Wartet doch einfach mal die Zeit ab. Ich habe gehört, ich habe gelesen, aus sicherer Quelle bla bla blubb ...
