Wie von einem Pressemitarbeiter heute zu erfahren war, sind folgende Modelle des T61 ab Montag, den 7.5.07 bei den Distributionspartnern bestellbar, wobei die Lieferfrist auf Ende Mai/Anfang Juni bestimmt wird, weil die Geräte bei den Großhändlern noch NICHT lagern (NoFost-Geräte kommen erst im Juni!):

laut nvidea-page gibt es die NVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M gar nicht, zumindest dort nicht gelistet. googelt man danach, findet man nur blog oder foren einträge zur neuen T61 Serie. Naja mal warten was sich da noch ändert. Auch nur 14 Zoll Geräte ist seltsam

Da ist nicht ein EMEA Geraet dabei und solange die in EMEA nicht offiziell sind gibts nichts.

Ob da endlich mal mehr Helligkeit rausspringt und vielleicht mal ein MacBook Pro ähnliches Display verbaut wurde, oder ob da nur wieder alte Technik drinsteckt.

Helleres Display bedeutet u.a. auch, dass der Energieverbrauch hoeher ausfallen wird - zumindest bei CCFL-beleuchteten Displays. Und da der Akku nur ein 4Cell ist...

ich denke, das sind quasi z60t's neu verpackt...
statt ein 14" wide hätten sie lieber ein 13" wide gebaut.
ich bin der meinung, dass man nicht einfach ein 4:3 etwas strecken kann, man muss das ganze chassis von grund auf für wide konzipieren.
ich wünsche, dass diese t's wide sich noch schlechter absetzten, als die 14" z-serie, die ich überzeugender finde.

Wenn du ein 14" streckst, kommt ein 15,4" Widescreen raus. Stell mal ein 14" und ein 15,4" nebeneinander hin, du wirst sehen, die Displays haben die selbe Bauhöhe.

ein 14" Widescreen NB ist deutlich kleiner und völlig neu konzipiert, so wie du es gern möchtest.. ^^

2cm breiter, dafür 2cm weniger tiefe. dazu weniger bildschirmfläche. immerhin sind die speaker oben.
