Hey guys,
sorry for the strange title but I can't describe it differently. I have a pretty new S440 (1 year) and for a the longest time everything worked fine and still does but with a flaw. Let me explain: when I work in my office, I always attach my laptop to the power cable, the ethernet cable, a combo-usb-stick for keyboard and mouse and a screen via HDMI cable. Everything works fine. Usually I don't use my laptop at home but when I do also everything is fine with or without cable. But when I try to use ms word2010 and press safe the program crashes. The same happens with another bigger program (chemdraw).
Those are the only programs that cause issues and I have no idea why. The power settings are on max for cable and battery. I can use the brower, I can even play games and no problem except for these two programs. I don't even know where to start to google for this super annoying and odd problem. Does anybody know what causes this? I am pretty sure it's something embarrasingly simple but I don't see it. Help is very appreciated!
Thank you in advance,
Boson
