Hier ist ein interessanter Artikel über die X-Serie auf lenovoblogs.com von Matt Kohut (Lenovo Competitive Analyst): ThinkPad X Series.

Dort findet sich zum Beispiel die starke Aussage über DVI/VGA/Display Port von Matt auf die Antworten, die er auf seinem Blog-Eintrag bekommen hat (viele Leser wollen DVI für die X-Serie - verständlicherweise).

DVI is not likely to happen. Display Port is likely instead. Also, part of the debate is whether to put it on the system or to put it on the expansion slice. Any Display Port devices for the near term future will be attached to a desk.

The VGA port is going to be with us a long time. Many people have forgotten about the millions of projectors that exist out there. Without a VGA port, how is anyone going to connect? From what I?ve heard, many projector vendors aren?t wanting to put the cost of a Display Port on their projectors until there is a critical mass of systems out there with it.

Also kein DVI in Sicht, Display port ist schon wahrscheinlicher, vermutlich am Dock.
