IBM x40 soll mit PCMCIA Card und UMTS eine Internetverbindung aufbauen

Hallo,

mein x40 soll mit einer PCMCIA Card (Option Qualcomm 3G CDMA) eine Internetverbindung aufbauen.
Mein Provider ist T-Mobile.
Setze Ubuntu 8.10 ein.

Nachdem ich den Karte eingesteckt habe, folgende Systemmeldung:

Ich habe umtsmon installiert. Nach Aufruf bekomme die Meldung,
"umtsmon detected that you need to switch your device.
Click Yes if you agree.
Note: this does not work properly for all devices yet!"

Nachdem ich auf Yes geklickt habe, kommt diese Meldung:
"No divece could be foun, the application will close.
If you need more info, please re-run form the command line."

Starte ich das Programm im Terminal, kommt noch diese Info:

Hoffe mir kann jemand einen Tipp geben.
