Debian squeeze - Update von X und xrandr

Hallo,

ich habe ein T60 mit Intelgrafik GMA945 und nutzte bis heute xrandr um meinen externen TFT virtuell neben dem Notebook zu platzieren. Das hat auch gut funktionert. In der xorg.conf ist natürlich die Virtual - Line vorhanden und auch ausreichend dimensioniert.

Aber seit dem Update von X auf 7.4 funktioniert das nicht mehr. Es scheint als ob die virtuelle Auflösung ignoriert und das Hardwarelimit von 2048x2048 fix ist. Das bedeutet für mich, dass ich so nicht mehr mit beiden Bildschirmen nebeneinander arbeiten kann, was natürlich nicht schön ist. Hat jemand bereits eine Lösung für das Problem oder einen Ansatz?

Ist zwar nur ein Workaround, aber würde es reichen die beiden Bildschirme virtuell übereinander zu platzieren um unter dem 2048er Limit zu bleiben?

Das funktioniert natürlich, aber ist nicht akzeptabel, aktuell benutze ich nur den 24" mit 1920x1200 Auflösung. Aber nerven tut mich das schon, dass es nach dem Update einfach nicht mehr geht. Ich denke, dass im Treiber etwas geändert wurde, was nun verhindert, dass die virtuelle Auflösung größer 2048x2048 wird... Vorher war das einfach nur die Grenze für DRI, darüber gab es keine Beschleunigung mehr und gut.
