In meinem T500 ist vorn ein Card-Reader - offenbar von Ricoh, s. u. - verbaut. Ich wollte ihn gestern zum ersten Mal benutzen, und zwar mit einer 2 GB großen M2-Karte ( = Memory Stick Micro, kleines Format für Sony-Ericsson-Handys) von SanDisk in einem mitgelieferten Adapter. Wenn ich diesen in den Card-Reader-Slot schiebe, tut sich gar nichts. Forensuchen hier sowie auf unbuntuforums.org und ubuntuusers.de haben mich zu keiner Lösung geführt. (Auf ubuntuforums.org gibt es einige Ansätze für ältere Kernel, aber ich wollte nicht einfach Software aus 2008 manuell nachinstallieren.)

Ich kann keine Spur entdecken, dass mein System überhaupt was von der Karte bemerkt hätte. Es ist natürlich möglich, dass der Card-Reader das M2-Format nicht mag. Hat jemand von Euch Erfahrungen oder Lösungsansätze? Braucht ihr weitere Infos über mein System?
