Hatte ich auch schon gesehen, 1.14 gibt es zum manuellen Download (derzeit noch nicht im Companion). Hast Du es schon installiert, ist danach weiter alles OK?

Ja, ich habe es schon installiert..
Im Gegensatz zum aktuellen Dependency (bzgl. Ladeschwellen) sind mir keine negativen Effekte aufgefallen...

Hat jemand mit Linux das 1.14 schon ausprobiert?

Bei einem user funktionierte nach dem update auf 1.13 der rechte obere USB-Port nicht mehr.

Kann das überhaupt jemand bestätigen?

Gilt das auch für das 1.14 Bios?

Problem ist, dass man das 1.14 bios nicht mehr downgraden kann...

(Sogar) im Lenovo Companion wurde mir heute BIOS 1.15 angeboten, nachdem 1.14 seit dessen Erscheinen dort niemals erschien und ich bis dato 1.13 hatte. Bislang funktioniert mit 1.15 noch alles wie vorher.

Neuerdings wird BIOS 1.16.0.9 angeboten. Mangels funktionierender Detailansicht dazu im Companion (https://thinkpad-forum.de/threads/2...t-zu-Updates-lassen-sich-nicht-mehr-schließen) verzichte ich lieber erst einmal darauf. Hat es schon jemand, was sind die Nebenwirkungen?

Nein, habe ich nicht... Werde ich aber die Tage mal machen...

EDIT: ist installiert, T460s läuft noch - ist nicht explodiert...

Wusste ich es doch, man kann Lenovo einfach nicht trauen und fast jedes Update bringt Verschlimmbesserungen bzw. Bugs mit sich: Seit ich BIOS 1.20 heute installiert habe, tritt der Lüfter viel aggressiver (d.h. viel öfter) in Aktion und rattert auch plötzlich erheblich stärker. Hat jemand die gleichen Erfahrungen gemacht?
