Yes, that's right. But I was aware of this risk and, in the worst case, expected a loss of around 100 euros. It's annoying, but it doesn't kill me either. Where can I find these trustworthy sources? I don't know anyone here in the forum either. Is the risk of getting a defective CPU somewhere else lower? I am not sure.

Das ist natürlich höchst ärgerlich.
Ich habe auch bereits mehrere CPUs aus China bestellt und bisher keine schlechten Erfahrungen gemacht. Die schnellste war glaube ich ein i7-2860qm. Das ist natürlich nicht die absolute Spitze aber immerhin.
@W701: Wenn du magst, dann kann ich die CPU mal in einem W510 bei mir testen. Da müsste sie ja auch laufen, wenn sie in Ordnung ist.

Das können wir gern machen, sollte ich darauf sitzen bleiben. Momentan zähle ich noch auf den Ebay-Käuferschutz und die Rücknahmerichtlinien des Verkäufers.
