ich habe ein W541 für Videobearbeitung und wollte es mit einer PCIe Decklink Videokarte über Expresscard erweitern.
Als Hardware habe ich mir folgedes zugelegt:

Dieses Teil hat eine ASmedia 1182e Chip.
Leider mag das W541 diesen Adapter nicht. Windows kommt ins stocken und meldet die Hardware ständig an und wieder ab (PCI-zu-PCI Brücke). Zwischendurch hängt das Windows total.
Mit Ubuntu als Live-System hatte ich auch nicht viel mehr Glück. Die Hardware wird zwar angezeigt (lspci) (ASmedia...) aber sie wird scheinbar nicht richtig eingebunden. Eingesteckte Karten werden nicht angezeigt. Nach geraumer Zeit hängt Linux komplett.
Der Expresscard-Slot funktioniert - habe ich mit einem Expresscard -> SD-Card Adapter getestet.
An meinem x200 (Intel 82801 Chipsatz) wird das Teil Problemlos erkannt (sowohl unter Windows als auch Ubuntu) - auch an einem befreundeten x220 (Intel C210 Chipsatz).
Ich vermute dass es mit dem Intel 8 C220 Chipsatz zusammenhängt.
Hat schon jemand ähnliche Erfahrung gemacht und kann vielleicht weiterhelfen?

Der Expresscard-Slot funktioniert - habe ich mit einem Expresscard -> SD-Card Adapter getestet.
An meinem x200 (Intel 82801 Chipsatz) wird das Teil Problemlos erkannt (sowohl unter Windows als auch Ubuntu) - auch an einem befreundeten x220 (Intel C210 Chipsatz).
Ich vermute dass es mit dem Intel 8 C220 Chipsatz zusammenhängt.
Hat schon jemand ähnliche Erfahrung gemacht und kann vielleicht weiterhelfen?
