Ubuntu 17.10 und das Stromsparen - T530

Hallo zusammen,

seit kurzem habe ich auf einer SSD in meinem T530 die aktuelle Ubuntu Version (mit Budgie Desktop) installiert.
Nachdem ich mich in das Thema Stromsparen schon etwas eingelesen habe und die NVIDIA Grafikkarte im Bios schlussendlich deaktiviert habe, habe ich lt. Powertop einen Stromverbrauch von 11,8 W im Leerlauf. Sobald ich einen Browser verwende, liegt der Verbrauch zwischen 15 - 17 Watt.
Mir stellt sich die Frage, ob hier noch Optimierungsmöglichkeiten bestehen - bei manchen hier im Forum habe ich gesehen, dass diese einen Stromverbrauch von 7 W schaffen und nun frage ich mich, ob ich dies auch erreichen kann?
P.S. Der Akku ist nicht mehr der Beste, er wird demnächst ersetzt.

Hast du deine Messung mit deaktiviertem WLAN / BT / WWAN und minimaler Helligkeit durchgeführt und den Rechner vorher ein paar Minuten laufen lassen, damit die HDD / SSD nicht arbeitet? Das macht schon einiges aus.
 
Dass der Akku nicht mehr der beste sein soll kann ich jetzt nicht so nachvollziehen. Er hat 104,5% der Design-Kapazität. Besser geht nicht.
 
Hast du deine Messung mit deaktiviertem WLAN / BT / WWAN und minimaler Helligkeit durchgeführt und den Rechner vorher ein paar Minuten laufen lassen, damit die HDD / SSD nicht arbeitet? Das macht schon einiges aus.

Habe gerade noch einmal mit powertop gemessen:

Bluetooth jeweils ausgeschaltet

WiFi aus, Display Helligkeit niedrig: 8,87W

WiFi ein, Display Helligkeit niedrig: 9,39W

WiFi ein, Display mittlere Helligkeit 10,0 - 11 W (schwankend)


P.S. Das mit dem Akku - da ist mir ein Fehler passiert - ich bin da von deutlich mehr Akkukapazität ausgegangen :unsure: In der untersten Zeile des tlp-stat steht es ja in Prozent ... 104.5 [%] :rolleyes:
