Have you tried a different USB - port? On the t410, they occasionally became faulty due to bad soldering connections.

I've never used network boot, so I don't know anything about it.
What kind of installation mediums do you have?
Have you tried to swap the harddisk into another system, install a system there and swap the harddisk back?

Maybe a wrong RAM module installed? I remember having such problems using a single 8GB RAM module in a x201

Hi, same Ram was running für 2 years already
thanks for the hint

Hi unfurtanetely I do not have another similar system and want to secure the data first......

will check with another new disk, need to find a spare small one for laptops

Are the USB-ports mechanicly o.k ? Maybe there is a short circuit between contacts .
Check them best by a magnifier glass .

I think it can be a cmos issue, I got it booting one time yesterday after removing cmos battery and replugging
any known issues here?

will check with a new cmos and update

Depending on the mode, how the USB boot-key had been formatted, the T410 may not boot from it. The key should have been formatted with MBR file system or CDFS, of you write an ISO f.ex. using Rufus.
Try an USB-key, which can boot on an other computer., remove DVD drive as well as internal HDD or just replace the internal drive by annother empty one just for testing.

Hi
thanks, did test usb boot on another device, working on it.
not on T410

also after new CMOS, no change, not booting

only also having strange gentle beep, 3 fast beeps recurring , but not as loud as normal POST beeps hard to hear so .

anyone knowting those beeps

What kind of grafics got this T410 : Intel ,Nvidia or both (Optimus) ?
If you don`t know please name the MTM .
If Optimus , try to set to Intel only .May be the Nvidia-card went defect .

Greets Uwe

P.S.: Three beeps sounds bad ...

You can check the error code using Lenovo Diagnostics by just recording it through the APP.
