Power
Power Mode for AC [Maximum Performance] is default, Customized and Maximum Battery Life are options. Set a power saving mode for when the system runs on AC power.
Power Mode for Battery [Maximum Battery Life] is default, Customized and Maximum Performance are options. Set a power saving mode for when the system runs on battery.
Customize Processor Speed [Fixed Max] is default, Fixed Medium and Fixed Slow are options. This is only available when Power Mode is "Customized".
Customize Suspend timer [5 Minutes] is default, options are Disabled, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. The system goes into Suspend mode if it is left in idle for the amount of time shown. This is only available when Power Mode is "Customized".
Customize LCD off timer [5 Minutes] is default, options are Disabled, 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. The system turns the LCD off if it is left in idle for the amount of time shown. This is only available when Power Mode is "Customized".
Customize HDD off timer [3 Minutes] is default, options are Disabled, Immediate, 3, 5, 10, and 20 minutes. The system turns the HDD off if it is left in idle for the amount of time shown. This is only available when Power Mode is "Customized".
Hibernate by timer [Disabled] is default, Enabled is an option. Set the system to Hibernate instead of suspend when the suspend timer has elapsed.
Timer Wake with Battery Operation [Disabled] is default, Enabled is an option. Caution: If enabled, the PC could wake up while being carried & could damage the HDD. This could void warranty. If a scheduled event requires user input, the battery could be drained while waiting. If disabled, the PC will ignore scheduled wake up events only if not connected to AC, protecting the HW. If Enabled is selected, the following displays : Attention! If this PC might be moved while off, do not select 'Enabled'. The HDD could be damaged and battery drained if a scheduled event wakes up the PC while being moved and not connected to AC. Select Yes to continue to select Enabled. Select No to discontinue the operation.
Low Battery Action [Suspend] is default, Hibernation is an option. Set the system to Suspend or Hibernate when the battery becomes low.
Suspend when the LCD is closed [Suspend] is default, No Suspend is an option. Select No Suspend when you want to use the system with the LCD closed.
Suspend/Hibernate while docked [Disabled] is default, Enabled is an option. Enable/Disable the system to Hibernate or Suspend while the system is docked.
RediSafe [Disabled] is default, Enabled is an option. Enable/Disable RediSafe functions that prepares Hibernation file during suspend mode for faster and safer operation.
Resume on time [Disabled] is default, Enabled is an option. Enable/Disable the system to resume on specified time or date. When time is set and date is "00" system resumes at the same time everyday. Resume time [00:00:00] Specify the time when the system is to wake up. Resume date [00/00/0000] Specify the date when the system is to wake up.
Resume on Modem Ring [Disabled] is default, Enabled is an option. Enable/Disable the system to resume when the modem detects an incoming call.
