wodurch unter scheidet sich "Synaptics UltraNav driver for Windows 8.1 (32-bit, 64-bit), 8 (32-bit, 64-bit), 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit), XP - ThinkPad" von "UltraNav Utility for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit), XP (32-bit, 64-bit) - ThinkPad"?

One of the big differences in the ultranav driver compared to win7 default is the middle button scroll function. I love this feature and hate the way the default windows drivers work. I'm sure they can be tweaked to work better, but the ultranav works great "out of box", and has some nice optional settings too.

As for there being two, I recall there is a driver and a utility, but not two drivers. The utility allows for more options, and the driver is for basic support only.

T61fan, kannst Du nicht einfach mal alle Fragen in einem Thread stellen (habe ich Dir schon einmal gesagt!)? Das T61 hat keinen Multitouch (pinch-to-zoom geht nicht) Zweifingerscrollen geht durch die Anwendung "two-finger-scroll".

die Frage habe ich mir auch schon gestellt, aber dann ohne Herumporbieren beides installiert; danach konnte man dann eine Menge Einstellungen über die Systemsteuerung vornehmen und auch Zweifingerscrolling machen; wenn du die Utilities noch nicht installiert hast, kannst du das mal ausprobieren

Zweifingerscrolling, wie hast Du das eingerichtet?
Wo genau finde ich das Zweifingerscrolling bei den Systemeinstellungen?
Das suche ich schon drei Tage.
Bei meinem T61 funktioniert es nicht mit Windows 7 64Bit.
Was für einen Thinkpad hast Du genau?

ich muss da wohl einen kleinen Rückzieher machen: das 2Finger-Scrolling funktioniert auf meinem X220, nicht aber auf dem R400; da kann man nur scrollen, wenn man am Rand des touchpads entlangfährt; demletzt hatte mir ein Forumsmitglied gesagt, das 2Fingerscrolling sei ein ganz alter Hut, ich finde das Zitat aber leider nicht mehr; wegen dieser Erinnerung meinte ich, es müsste mit dem T61 auch gehen;

du findest die Einstellmöglichkeiten unter Systemsteuerung - Hardware - Maus - Ultranav - Touchpad - Einstellungen; das ist allerdings beim X220 viel umfangreicher als beim R400
