The most noticeable is that the IdeaPad S10-3s features a slightly modified case design with rounded corners, making it look more like the older IdeaPad S10-2 than the S10-3. But more significantly, the new model is available with a bunch of configuration options that aren’t available on the S10-3, including:

• CPU: Intel Atom N450 or N470
• Display: 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel or 1280 x 720 pixel
• Memory: Up to 2GB
• OS: Windows 7 Starter, Windows XP
• Storage: 160GB, 250GB, 320GB hard drive, or 16GB, 32GB solid state disk
• Connectivity: Optional Bluetooth, 3G modem
• Battery: 3 cell or 7 cell

Was mich wundert... 7 cell battery? Wohl ein Tippfehler, im Text steht 6.

The S10-3s will be available in the middle of this month (i.e., very soon) for a price of $379. Look for it in black, white, and a “spring flowers” design.

Laut Dilbert_im_Cubicle läuft das normale S10-3 Display auch im S10(e).
Ob es das S10-3s HD-Display dann auch tut? Das eröffnet interessante Möglichkeiten.

Ich hab aber ja ein 10,2"-S10e, insofern kann ich meins schonmal nicht modden.

Nur einen riesigen Haken hat die Sache.. in Deutschland gibts keinen Lenovo-Online-Shop wie in USA ... mit wilden Konfigurieren wirds dann wohl nix in good ol Germany..also vergesst das mal ganz schnell wieder...

Vielleicht "schwappt" ja was rüber. Bliebe dann nur noch das Tastatur-Problem, falls eine amerikanische Tastatur nicht zusagen sollte...
