Hallo alle zusammen,

nach einer langen, qualvollen Zeit mit Windows 7 :-) wollte ich nun jetzt wieder zurueck auf die "gute Seite der Macht..." Linux. Ich besitze ein T410s mit Optimus-Technologie, aber keine Angst, nicht darum dreht sich meine Frage.
Es funktioniert eigentlich wirklich alles gut bei mir, auch der Suspend2Disk bzw. Ram geht, nur leider die Funktionstasten wollen nicht mehr so wie ich. Helligkeit und Ton arbeiten, nur Fn+F6 etc. Haben keine Funktion. Nun wollte ich die Thinkpad-ACPI nachladen, kann sie aber leider nicht im Repository finden... kann mir vielleicht jemand bei meinem Problem helfen...?

Nachinstallieren ist nicht nötig, das Modul ist im Standard-Kernel enthalten. Zeig mal:

EDITH merkt noch an, daß Fn+F6 (Webcam) unter Linux keine Funktion hat und möchte wissen welche Fn+Tastenkombis genau mit "... etc. Haben keine Funktion" gemeint sind.
 
Oh... ok! Sitze gerade in der Firma und meine schwarze Lady ist zu Hause... Sorry! ich meinte eigentlich dann die Fn+F5 Taste (Suspend2Disk und ich glaube Fn+F12 Suspend2Ram).
Wo wir gerade dabei sind... Probleme macht auch noch meine Gobi2000 (Vodafone WebSessions) Karte... Wird aktiviert (Windows Treiber wurden also erkannt), es wird aber keine Verbindung hergestellt...kann mir vielleicht noch jemand sagen was ich beim Network Manager einstellen muss...?
 
Meld dich einfach wenn Du das Gerät zur Hand hast :D . Nach welcher Anleitung (schau dir mal die aus meiner Signatur an) wurden "die Windowstreiber" installiert, sprich welche Firmwaredateien aus welchen Ordner hast Du kopiert? Ist die USB ID 05c6:9205?

Ich denke es liegt nicht an der Karte, oder am Treiber, sondern viel mehr am KDE NetworkManager... da muss ich ja fuer Vodafone alles von Hand eintragen (Rufnummer, APN...) denke mal ich habe nicht die richtigen Einstellungen, leider... :-( - Ach ja, habe die Windows Dateien aus dem Ordner 0 genommen, Vodafone (?)...
Als Funktionstatsen funktionieren unter Kubuntu leider nicht: Fn-F2 (Lock), Fn-F3 (Batterie), Fn+F4 (Sleep), Fn+F6 (WebCam), Fn+F7 (Monitor), Fn+F8 (TouchPad), Fn+F12 (Suspend).
Es funktioneren: Ton aus, Lautstaerker +/-, Helligkeit hoch/runter, ThinkLight.
Ach ja, auch die Power-Taste oeffnet keinen Dialog wie ich den Rechner runterfahren will. Ich erinnere mich das ich das Problem schon mit meinem alten T60 hatte, da musste ich unter KDE den Gnome Power Manager nachinstallieren... das Empfinde ich aber als sehr schlechte Loesung.....
 
thinkpad_acpi sieht gut aus, lsusb zeigt eine geladene Firmware.

Machen wir erstmal mt dem UMTS weiter. Du verwendest nicht zufällig die SIM die beim ThinkPad dabei war? Falls ja: die lassen sich nicht aktivieren. Du brauchst eine andere.

Die Zugangsdaten für VF Websessions:
  • Rufnummer: *99#
  • User: <leer lassen>
  • Passwort: <leer lassen>
  • APN: event.vodafone.de
  • Rest auf Voreinstellung lassen
Wenn es mit dem oben gesagten immer noch nicht klappt, zeig mal Screenshots von allen Einstellungsseiten - ich hab kein KDE hier.

Mit den Einstellungen von Dir passt es, bei meinem letzten einen Versuch hatte ich User + Passwort mit angegeben. Da schein das Problem zu liegen... Woher soll man so etwas nur wissen. ;-)
Grosses DANKE schon mal... jetzt bleibt nur noch das Leidige Thema mit den Funktionstasten... vielleicht wird es ja wieder so leicht :-)
Ach ja, die Power-Taste faehrt jetzt schon mal den Rechner runter... war eine Einstellung im Power Manager! Fingerprint funktioniert dank Deiner Signatur auch...
 
Imho sind User+Passwort bei den meisten Providern heutzutage völlig egal, man kann beliebige Zeichenketten angeben :D .

Mit den F-Tasten bin ich etwas überrascht, weil die eigentlich bei 100% der Installationen ootb laufen. Ich tappe da etwas im Dunkeln - muß erstmal eben ein reines Kubuntu aufsetzen, das dauert ...

Zeig doch vorab mal:

Hast Du das Kommando abgetippt oder per Cut&Paste. Das nach dem "-" ist ein kleines "L"!

Importiere mal die Settings aus Post #17. Danach geht Fn+F4 aber trotzdem nicht, ich mußte eine andere Kombi (Fn+F3) zuweisen. Analog müßtest Du für die anderen Funktionen Kommandos suchen (für Hibernate heißt die DBUS-Methode org.freedesktop.Powermanagement.Hibernate, restliche Felder wie .Suspend). Viel Spaß weiterhin mit KDE... ;)

Danke schon mal fuer die Hilfe..... ja, mit KDE ist so eine Sache, abe ich Programmiere in der Firma mit QT, deswegen bin ich schon vor Jahren zu KDE.... Jetzt ist mir Gnome einfach etwas zu schlicht (was aber nicht negativ gemeint ist...). Machmal erwische ich mich aber auch mit XFCE :thumbsup:

Hier gibt's eine Lösung: https://bugs.launchpad.net/kdebase/+bug/281284

Installiere das Paket python-xlib, speichere das Skript aus Post #29 in ~/.kde/Autostart/ und mach es ausführbar. Statt Neuanmeldung kannst Du es zum Test auch manuell starten. Die Fehlermeldung beim Start kommt daher, daß das Grabbing von XF86Display (Fn+F7) fehlschlägt, der Rest scheint zu funktionieren.
 
Also habe es auch noch mal mit einer 10.04.1 versucht... ist aber leider das Gleiche.... Bin jetzt schon am ueberlegen, ob ich mich nicht mal an ArchLinux wage... man hoert ja nur gutes davon, jedoch habe ich etwas Panik ob es nicht zu kompliziert wird....??
Welche KDE Distro kann man denn noch so empfehlen..?
OpenSuse = YAST... fuer mich eins der schlimmsten Tools die ich je gesehen habe...
Fedora = irgendwie nicht meine Distro...
Memphis = sagt mir auch nicht so richtig zu... warum auch immer :confused:
PcLinuxOS = auch nicht so meine Distro...

ArchLinux = kompliziert...?

Was kann man wohl so nehmen...?
 
Anhand des KDE-Bugreports würde ich vermuten, daß das Problem in allen KDE4-basierten Distris existiert...

Wow, mein erstes Notebook wo alles mit Linux funktioniert.... wie Fett!!! :thumbsup:

Jetzt nur noch beide Grafikkarten... dann habe ich alles!! Aber das ist wirklich nur noch die 10.00 wobei ich die 9.98 schon habe... ist irgendwie schoen ein Notebook zu haben, welches in 10 Sekunden gestartet ist (Win7 brauchte 45 Sekunden bei mir). Es ist wirklich einfach nur geil!!! DANKE :attention: :attention:

Mach dich doch mal in dem LP-Bug als Betroffener bemerkbar und frag nach, wann denn der hochgeschätzte Maintainer den Upstream-Patch endlich einpflegen möchte.
