Durchgehende 30%-Prozessorlast durch logmon.exe?!

Hallo! Habe eine solche Datei in meinem ThinkVantage-Ordner meines T43 und greift dauernd auf meine Festplatte zu und verursacht hohe CPU-Last. Habe hier gelesen, dass das irgend ein Backup-Erstellungs-Automatismus sein soll, aber ich habe dieses Rescue und Recovery noch nie konfiguriert, und selbst wenn ich in dieses programm mal hineinschaue, was da so in dessen zeitplan steht, so soll sowieso erst am MITTWOCH ein backup durchgeführt werden. heute ist aber Dienstag, also scheint diese Datei irgend wo anders zuzuordnen sein.

ich hatte auch mal dieses Problem!Bei mir waren es sogar bis 90% CPU last.
Habe den Prozess einfach nur beendet, neu gestartet und gut war!

Hallo,

habe dieses Problem auch mit meinem Thinkpad. Der Prozess gehört zum Rescue & Recovers und wenn man das deinstalliert, dann hört das Prozessorzeit verschwenden auch auf.
Ein Beenden des Prozesses nutzt nix, weil nach dem nächsten Start der Prozess neu gestartet wird.

Denke das ist eine Fehlfunktion. Weiss jemand Rat wie man das wieder hinbekommt ohne r&r zu deinstallieren? (Neuinstallation hilft auch nicht)

N´abend,

fuer R&R gibt es ein Update.
Damit soll auch das Problem mit "Logmon.exe" und der Pozessorbelastung behoben werden (P 13.)

Erstaunlich ist auch das Release-Datum: 30.12.2005
Oder waren die Server so lange "down"?

4. The Rescue and Recovery application no longer causes an intermittent system crash when a Daylight Savings Time event occurs.
5. Users can now save files to a USB hard drive prior to restoring from a backup.
6. A multiple-partition image can be correctly restored to a blank hard drive.
7. Users can no longer insert a restore CD before being prompted to prior to the second boot into the Rescue and Recovery environment.
8. Bootmanager updates have been incorporated to make the Rescue and Recovery application compatible with Pointsec software.
9. A DOS window no longer opens when you select to view Help topics in the Rescue and Recovery environment.
10. Users are now able to modify backup passwords using a command prompt.
11. Users are now able to enable or disable the security chip using an XML file.
12. Additional device drivers have been added to support Rescue and Recovery performance.
13. The Logmon.exe file has been updated to minimize its CPU utilization.
14. Rescue and Recovery chkdsk /f command conflicts have been corrected. This command no longer creates conflicts with other system management applications.
15. The Ibmfilter.sys file has been updated to correct compatibility issues with BBSoft Player.
16. Wireless network connections no longer fail due to emulated machine certificates.

von IBM BladeCenter auf HP Proliant

habe meine letzten updates am 21.12.05 erhalten....die aktuellsten dateien sind vom 30.12.2005

habe jetzt das patch für css 6 manuell geladen :?
