BIOS-Update 2.21

Hallo zusammen... habe heute durch Zufall ein BIOS-Update für das T440s entdeckt. Hier ein Auszug der Log, warum ich dieses BIOS-Update besonders interessant finde:

- Fixed an issue where the computer might fail to start up when the Intel Rapid
Start Technology optoin was set to Enabled in ThinkPad Setup and a partition
on the hard disk or SSD was modified.

Seit dem BIOS-Update erkennt das T440s meine Crucial M500 nicht mehr. (2100 detection error on hdd0...)

kann ich nicht bestätigen. Hab auch ein M500 mit 480GB drinnen, und die läuft problemlos mit 2.21. Benutze kein Linux, aber wollte sicher gehen dass es mir nicht auch mit Pech mal abstürzt.

• (Fix) Fixed an issue where SMBIOS type 15 structure (System Event Log) was incorrect.

Etwas verwunderlich, dass der EC schon so lange nicht mehr geupdated wurde. Schön ist aber insbesondere dass man nun der Intel GPU mehr Speicher zuweisen kann als vorher.
