Akkuanzeige unter Kubuntu 11.10

Hallo,

hab folgendes Problem. Im Akkumodus entläd der Akku ganz normal, bis ca 50%, dann springt die Akkuanzeige schlagartig auf 0%, der Akku ist natürlich aber nicht ganz leer und des X61 läuft weiter. Kann man das irgendwie beheben, neu Kalibrieren? Was ich schon gemacht hab, ist

 sudo tlp recalibrate

, was aber eben dann auch bei ca 50% einfach auf 0% gefallen ist und mir ein

Done: battery BAT0 was completely discharged.

ausgegeben hat. Done ist aber da noch nix...

Weiß jemand wie man das in de Griff bekommt?

Das Entladeende wird durch die Hardware signalisiert, da gibt es keine Umgehungsmöglichkeit per Software. In deinem Fall sind also entweder Akkuelektronik oder -zellen defekt. Du könntest mal versuchen den Akku im BIOS ganz zu entladen. Höchstwahrscheinlich hilft aber nur ein neuer Akku.

Zeig bitte mal die Akkudaten per:

sudo tlp-stat

Das ist ungewöhnlich denn unter Win7 läuft der Akku ganz normal. Linrunner, vielleicht fällt dir ja noch zusätzlich auf was bei mir vielleicht falsch eingestellt ist. Hier meine TLP-STAT

Da kann man leider nichts falsch einstellen, die Hardware macht was ihr beliebt. Keine Ahnung wie Windows das Problem umgeht.

Als Schuss ins Blaue würde ich mal einen Hardware Reset probieren.

Hi,
da google diesen Thread als dritten Treffer für meine Suchanfrage ausgegraben hat, antworte ich hier mal für andere die evtl. dass gleiche Problem haben (meine Suche war nach "x61 akku fällt von 70 auf null").

Ich habe ein X61s und den kleinen 4 Zeller.

Bei mir war es in letzter Zeit so dass der Akku immer bei ca. 70% auf null gesprungen ist.
Ich habe dann den von linrunner erwähnten Hardware Reset gemacht und siehe da der Akku läuft wieder normal.

System:
Ubuntu 10.04 mit TLP und PHC.
