[Gelöst] Fn+F3 Bildschirm wird dunkel, aber Hintergrundbeleuchtung leuchtet trotzdem noch

Hallo zusammen,
habe ein X31 mit Ubuntu 9.04, unter WinXP war ich es gewohnt, wenn man Fn+F3 drückt geht der Bildschirm aus.
Jetzt unter Ubuntu wird der Bildschirm zwar auch schwarz, aber die Hintergrundbeleuchtung brennt weiter. Dies war unter XP nicht so....

Könnt ihr mir sagen was ich einstellen muss, damit der Bildschirm unter Ubuntu richtig aus geht.

@desoxy: Coole Sache, ja dann geht der Bildschirm aus.... wie kann ich das jetzt auch Fn+F3 konfigurieren?
 
Das wird im Verzeichnis /etc/acpi/events/ eingestellt. Wie es genau in Ubuntu ist, weiß ich nicht, aber auf jeden Fall sollen da Dateien rumliegen mit dem Inhalt:

action=<bla-bla2>

bla-bla1 kannst du rausfinden, wenn du acpi_listen startest und die Tastenkombination drückst. Und bla-bla2 ist der Befehl...
 
Hallo zusammen, bin leider noch nicht richtig weitergekommen.
Bei einem T400 soll das Fn+F3 bzw. dort Fn+F2 Out-of-the-Box funktionieren (richtig mit Hindergrundbeleuchtung AUS), wenn mir jemand bei dem das auch funktioniert seinen Inhalt von "/etc/acpi/" in gepackter Form zukommen lassen könnte, wäre ich sehr dankbar.

Ich könnte dann evtl. eher durchsteigen, wenn ich was zum vergleichen habe.

Moin,

auf meinem R61 hat desoxys Ansatz geklappt (danke dafür). Da Fn+F6 nicht belegt war, habe ich ich diese Tastenkombi gewählt und in die Datei /etc/acpi/events/thinkpad-backlight-off (neu erstellt) geschrieben. Durch Start von acpi_listen und Eingabe der Tastenkombi findest du das event heraus und trägst es ein, unter action eben die auszuführende Aktion:

action=xset dpms force off
Danach habe ich noch /etc/init.d/acpid restart und /etc/init.d/acpi-support restart ausgeführt, um die Änderungen zu aktivieren.
Wenn ich dich jetzt richtig verstanden habe, soll dein X31 (anders als mein R61) von Haus aus diese Funktion über Fn+F3 bieten. Entweder nimmst du ebenfalls unbelegte Tasten (falls vorh.), oder du versuchst es in der Datei mit Fn+F3.

Die Lösung kam von desoxy, aber schön zu hören, dass es nun klappt.
 
Eine Frage habe ich noch, nach einem Neustart muss ich /etc/init.d/acpid restart und /etc/init.d/acpi-support restart ausgeführen damit
das ganze mit Fn+F6 wieder funktioniert.

Ist das bei dir auch so nilfilter?

Ja, hast Recht. Ist mir nicht aufgefallen, da ich nur selten neustarte. Ein /etc/init.d/acpid restart reicht allerdings aus.

Wenn ich mich nicht wieder täusche, braucht man noch ein entsprechendes Script in /etc/acpi, aufgerufen durch die action-Zeile unserer Datei in /etc/acpi/events. Siehe auch http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_configure_acpid
Ob ich das hinbekomme, steht in den Sternen. Könnte jemand mit mehr als meinem gefährlichen Halbwissen mal einspringen?

EDIT: Auf die Schnelle geht's auch so:
Lege eine neue Tastenkombination unter System | Einstellungen | Tastenkombinationen -> Hinzufügen an. Unter Name trägst du irgendwas ein, unter Befehl xset dpms force off. Dann klickst du rechts auf Deaktiviert und wirst zur Eingabe einer Tastenkombination aufgefordert. Ich habe Strg+F6 gewählt.
 
Wird denn das acpid-daemon standardmäßig gestartet? Kannst du mit dem folgenden Befehl rausfinden (natürlich bevor du acpid restart machst :D )

In Zeile 25 steht eigentlich: (modulo)­­admin ALL=(ALL) ALL
irgendiwe verschwinden die ersten 3Zeichen (% ad­) immer, sorry
 
Ich hab kein Ubuntu, also kann ich das nicht wirklich testen.

Als ich aber meine sudoers Datei vor mehreren Monaten editiert habe, habe ich noch "(root)" nach dem "=" geschrieben. Also in deinem Fall würde das so aussehen:

Wird die ~/.xinitrc Datei gelesen? Du kannst z.B. folgende Zeile rein schreiben

echo 1 > /tmp/test
und nach einem Restart schauen, ob die Datei /tmp/test erstellt wurde...

so ich habe jetzt herausgefunden das es ein passendes Skript gibt,welches das Backlight ausschaltet
/etc/acpi/screenblank.sh

Ich habe es jetzt so gemacht:
1. Datei (thinkpad-backlight-off) mit Root-Rechten erstellen

sudo vim /etc/acpi/events/thinkpad-backlight-off

2. Folgenes einfügen:

Jetzt funktioniert backlight aus mit Fn+F6
Auch nach einem Neustart bleibt das jetzt erhalten, muss keinen acpi restart machen.
