t480s CPU Frequenz im Batteriebetrieb unter Debian

Hallo Zusammen,
ich nutze Debian Sid und frage mich, ob es normal es, dass meine CPU (i5-8250U) im Akkubetrieb nicht unter 800MHz taktet? Habt ihr mit dem t480s unter Linux ähnliche Erfahrungen? Der Hintergrund ist, dass ich das Maximum an Akkuleistung/Optimierung erreichen möchte.

Eigentlich sollte doch der minimale Takt bei 400MHz liegen bzw. im idle zumindest ab und an unter 800MHz fallen? Wie bereits erwähnt, erreiche ich im idle "nur" 800MHZ. Ich nutze TLP (Standard config) und habe dort schon mit den "CPU_SCALING"Parametern herum gespielt, was aber gar keine Wirkung hat. Was übersehe ich? Das Scaling scheint ja korrekt eingestellt zu sein...

Die "current CPU frequency" von cpufrequtils ist nur eine Momentaufnahme und hat im Grund keine Aussagekraft. Schau dir besser die Statistik in powertop an.

EDITH sagt: die cpufrequtils kannst Du übrigens getrost entsorgen, das Paket ist von 2012 und kann mit intel_pstate eher nichts anfangen.

Zeig auch mal die komplette Ausgabe von tlp-stat. Anschließend können wir mal schauen, was den Stromverbrauch im Idle verursacht. Bei meinem X1C6 weckt z.B. der Treiber des USB-SD-Card-Lesers laufend die CPU auf. Mich würde auch interessieren welcher Kernel am Start ist. Das sagt uns aber alles tlp-stat.

Danke für deine investierte Zeit! Habe im BIOS übrigens das Meiste sowieso deaktiviert. Aktiv sind nur (USB,WLAN,WAN,MIC, Thunderbolt 3). Cpufrequtils habe ich nicht installiert.

EDIT: Ich nutze übrigens diesen "CPU Throttling Fix" https://github.com/erpalma/throttled. Wobei ich das auch schonmal testweise deaktiviert hatte...

Zeig mal den 2. Reiter (Idle Stats) nachdem Du die Maschine 1 min in Ruhe gelassen hast.

Was verbraucht es denn so nach 5 min im Idle bei minimaler Helligkeit, alle Anwendungen geschlossen.
 
Mein gesamter Energieverbrauch hatte seine Ursache in unnötigen/energiehungrigen Programmen. Ich hatte mich lange nicht mehr mit Powertop und Batterieoptimierungen beschäftigt. Seit dem Kauf meines t480s sind dann einige Programme dazu gekommen, ohne das ich an den Energieverbrauch gedacht habe.

Ich habe dann mal das Cpufreq-Panel, das Netzwerkdurchsatztool und meine Comptonlösung bezüglich des Tearings entfernt.

Deutlich weniger Stromverbrauch/Aufwachvorgänge, was auch der Laufzeit entspricht, die ich zum Kauf des Thinkpads hatte.

Sorry, der ganze Thread ist damit unnötig und mit etwas Nachdenken, hätte ich darauf auch selber kommen können.
