[X220][Geloest] wacht manchmal nicht mehr vom Standby auf. (Debian testing)

Hallo

Ich habe seit mehreren Jahren ein x220 mit Debian (testing) und seit ueber einem Jahr habe ich manchmal das Problem das der Rechner Einfriert wenn man ihn vom Standby (Suspend 2 ram) aufwachen will. Ich habe das Problem hier schon geschildert.

Luefter geht an, Powerknopf leuchtet durchgehend ... und nichts. Schwarzer Bildschirm. _Nichts_ in den kernel logs. Bios laut ThinkVantage tool auf dem neusten stand.

Ich weis leider nicht ob es ein Software oder Hardware Fehler ist, ich benutzte Windows zu selten um sagen zu koennen ob es da auch passiert. Es kommt zufaellig und ich kann kein Muster erkennen.

Ich bin fuer jeden Tipp dankbar.

Du solltest deinen Post nochmal editieren und klipp und klar sagen, dass es hier um Debian Testing (Jessie) geht – auch im Titel. Man muss ansonsten schon sehr genau hinschauen, um zu erkennen, dass Windows hier keinerlei Rolle spielt. Ich würde auch sagen, der Thread gehört nach Linux.

BTT: schwarze Bildschirme beim Resume kommen durchaus vor, ich kenne das von früher mit Ubuntu – bei X200 und X220. Wenn ich mich recht entsinne, gab es damals Probleme mit dem Treiber für die Intel-Grafik. Mittlerweile tritt es bei mir nicht mehr auf.

Kannst Du noch in eine virtuelle Konsole wechseln?

EDITH: Das ist schon mal nicht der aktuelle Jessie-Kernel (3.16-2) sondern ein uralter:

Beides.
Frueher dachte ich mal es passiert eher wenn ich mit dem Laptop unterwegs war (Fahrradtasche etc.) aber dann passierte es auch wenn er komplett still steht und nicht bewegt wurde.
Wie gesagt, ich kann kein Muster erkennen oder es 100% reproduzieren :(

Huh, da hast du recht. Kein plan warum er aufgehoert das die automatisch zu installieren.
 
Dann schauen wir mal ob der aktuelle Kernel eine Verbesserung bringt.
 
Also bis jetzt geht es. Er wacht auch deutchlich schneller aus dem standby auf. Den Anmeldebildschirm sieht man schon nach unter 0.5 sekunden, wo es vorher manchmal ne sekunde gedauert hat.

Anyhow, ich will mich nicht zu frueh freuen, denn manchmal hat es tage, ja sogar Monate gedauert bis der Bug wieder zum vorschein gekommen ist. Ich bedanke mich aber jetzt schonmal fuer die Schnelle und nette Hilfe :)
 
Das schnellere Resume wurde mit 3.15 umgesetzt.

Bei einem Bug der nur alle paar Monate auftritt, hat sich sowieso zwischendurch der Kernel geändert ...
