Hi there.
I´m new in this forum and the owner of an x220. Now I want to switch to a yoga - but I dont know which one.
I just love the design and haptic of the "classic" Yoga 13 - but of course the 4th generation of the intels would be great to.
At the moment I am stuck between:

Yoga 13 - i5 or i7 (3rd gen), intel 4000 graphics and 256 gb ssd

and the new (lower version of the yoga pro):

Yoga 2 13 - i3 (4th gen) , intel 4400 graphics and 500 gb Hd

The yoga should be my travelling mate for some smaller app development, photoshop, maybe a little bit of unity AND of course
some minor gaming.

Which one would you buy?
Is the i3 4th generation better than the i5 of the 3rd generation?
Is the intel 4400 graphics chip much better than the 4000?

Maybe you guys can help me in my decision.

Thx!!

Good evening!

I would suggest you to buy the ThinkPad Yoga - you might also read the review by Aurora - because of the trackpoint, the docking station port and the other business features.
Is the i3 4th generation better than the i5 of the 3rd generation?
Not really. (see the benchmark values of the i3-4010U and the i5-3337U)

Is the intel 4400 graphics chip much better than the 4000?

Compared to the ULV versions of the Ivy Bridge HD 4000, the HD 4400 is about 20 - 30 percent faster.

Thx for your answer! The thinkpad would be awesome. Still I am really fond of the 13.3 display (which is just the perfect size for a display in my opinion) :)
