Hallo Gemeinde,

ich habe hier eine mit deutschen Aufklebern versehene x40-Tastatur und suche die Pipe (senkrechter Strich) für das Terminal/Konsole.

Weiß einer von Euch, welche Tasten-Kombi das Zeichen hervorbringt?

Falls es ein US-Keyboard mit schmaler Enter-Taste ist, dann oberhalb derselben.
 
Die Taste fehlt z.B. beim UK-Layout. Dafür ist die Shift-Taste länger. Was war denn Original-Layout? Bei UK kannst du mal über der (einzeiligen) Enter-Taste schauen.
 
UK hat eben keine schmale Enter-Taste wenn ich mich nicht irre ...
 
Meine Kristallkugel hat Urlaub, Du darfst schon auch selbst mithelfen. Checke mal die Tasten über der Enter-Taste ab mit

Die originale [><] hat den Keycode 86.
 
Mit was für einer Tastaturbelegung arbeitest du denn? Versuch auch mal Shift-# oder AltGr + 7
 
Entschuldige, bin kein englisch Sprachkundler und xev ergibt " ` " und links davon " ~ " sind aber auf den Tasten auch angegeben über der Enter.
 
ALT gedrückt halten, währenddessen auf dem NUMBLOCK 124 eingeben und dann ALT wieder loslassen.
Dann hast du den "|".

Allerdings löst das noch nicht das Problem, dass du nicht weißt, wie du das Teil bei dir regulär erzeugen kannst.
Aber da müsste ja eigentlich simples Durchprobieren helfen...
 
Und wie sind die Keycodes zu den beiden Tasten?

EDITH möchte auch den Keycode der Taste links von Backspace wissen.

Fn+NumLk/ScrLk oder nur NumLk/ScrLk hat keine Wirkung auf die Zahlentasten
J+1;K+2;L+3;U+4...usw.
 
Ich ziehe mal die Schlußfolgerung, daß keine von den normalen Tasten frei ist, denn die von dir genannten Aufdrucke werden ja gebraucht. Du könntest die vom deutschen Keyboard gewohnte Kombination <>| auf die Caps_Lock-Taste legen:

Permanent machen kannst Du es dann mit einer Datei ~/.Xmodmap:

Ich bin am zweifeln :facepalm: Caps_Lock findet sich auf der Tastatur auch nicht...

Fn; Shift; Feststell; TAB; ^°

Dafür zweimal mit der Beschriftung Ctrl einmal mit Control_L für links und Control_R für rechts keycodes 37 und 105 .
